Gratitude

First of all, I want to make something very clear before I make my following statement, I have comfort. Let me explain.

For most of my life and continuing to today, we have been a low income family.

My dad worked hard to give us the life we had. We never had much, but we have our house, our food, what things we owned, the place where we live, our education. That doesn't sound like "comfort" to some people. Some people would call us poor. True, that's what we could be called. Yet the more and more I look around, the more and more I realize we could be off so much worse.

We are not living in a war zone. We are not denied help and shelter because of where we came from. We are not denied human dignity based on the color of our skin. I am not denied medical care or help based on my gender orientation. I am not discriminated against or attacked in the street for my religious beliefs. I am not catcalled at or harassed every day by various men.

Things could be far far worse.

I do, however, want to express gratitude for what I have been given. I have the comfort of living in my parents house being connected to family and friends and a support network that helps me do the things I do. Without which, nothing I ever made would be possible. A good example is  I am capable of giving some new life into this game thanks to a program my younger brother found. With that, I am able to hire people that can do some artwork for me. So, keeping in mind the comfort that I do have, I still want to say what I can.

So, I want to say thank you to my younger brother who helped me find the government program and jump start this game.

I want to say thank you to the artists who put up with my inquiries and actually agreed to work with me on this project. And provided the newest art that you see in this post.

To the people that I have in my life that have supported me throughout the years, my parents, friends, love ones, thank you.

I look forward for 2021, it's gonna be a blast!
