A downloadable game
A priest wakes up from a horrid nightmare where the city of Aimsway where his church rests is blown in a fiery explosion sky high to the heavens! When people started going missing with nothing but spider webs and slime left behind, it is thought that another cult was at work again at the well of seraphim’s blood under the church’s basement. However, the situation appears worse then thought, as 3 Inquisitors sent to investigate it have gone missing. The Inquisitors want vengeance and are prepared to dump gas down the well and blow it to pieces! The nightmare, however, led the priest to plea with them, and so, sent for help from the local guild, asking for expert advice.
Unfortunately, they got you, rookies. Now in the apse in the back of the church, you and your party are on a time limit set against the Inquisitors patience. Will you descend into the dungeon to get to the well to get to the bottom of the mystery and save Aimsway? Or will you tarry too long and the city will be blown to smithereens? FAQ
What about Aimsway?
Aimsway is a small and a half sized city with a large and diverse population of mice and other critters. It is large enough to warrant more content than what I had time for. However, the Aimsway map can be any large settlement with a population enough to suit it.
Didn't I see some Aimsway/Annesway nonsense somewhere?
That you did! That was an attempt to give the city a bit more flavor and history. Somewhere along the lines a generation or so ago, a city official wanted to honor an ancestor called Anne. So for a little bit, the city's name and all it's official stuff was switched to Annesway and there was a huge big deal for about a week or so. That's how long the promotion was supposed to last. Then someone got the paperwork messed up and it took a month and a half or so to clear it all out. So, to this day, and especially around late spring, folks will swear up and down that it is Annesway, even though the official name has been Aimsway for some time now. You'll still hear the occasional Annesway slipped in a conversation or two.
